WBCSD Workshop on the Future of Public-Private Co-Creation

The World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) is developing insights to seed a new era of public-private co-creation that accelerates a just green transition and unlocks investment. We are working with BRAE to explore the critical success factors for effective public-private co-creation.

In this first stage, a 2-hour online workshop, we are convening a peer group of experienced leaders and innovators to share and exchange knowledge and skills, as we work towards designing the future of effective public-private collaboration.

The workshop will seek to achieve the following objectives:

  • Explore the roles, competencies and conditions vital to deliver effective public-private co-creation.

  • Explore in-depth examples of effective and ineffective public-private co-creation to tackle complex challenges in sustainability, but also across other disciplines and fields of interest.

  • Explore the circumstances that public-private co-creation established to unlock different types of investment.

Beyond this first workshop, there will be opportunities to continue to iterate and test together, as part of a collaborative process that will run at least until the end of the year.
