BRAE on the Scope 3 Peer Group podcast

Our co-CEOs Suzy and Lewis were at the Scope 3 Peer Group Strategy week in February, delivering a couple of workshops. The first explored how to engage and empower procurement & category managers with the knowledge, data, levers, business cases and ability to make good sustainability decisions. The second addressed how to equip procurement teams with the tools, insights, and confidence to integrate nature into everyday decisions.

One of our core principles is to meet people where they are and support them to optimise. When we’re working with procurement professionals, we talk with them about their existing procurement superpowers. Then we fold sustainability into that. We don’t try and convince people to become sustainability dictionaries or champions; we help them to develop the competence and capability to enhance what they already do well with sustainability impacts embedded within the commercial context.

Lewis talks a lot about this in the Scope 3 Peer Group podcast, as well as diving into what we do at BRAE, how and why. You can listen here (epsiode 44). The whole podcast is worth a listen, but if you’re short on time jump to the 34th minute.
